Here I was stressing over the mountains of work on my desk today. And SUDDENLY! Like, really really SUDDENLY! You flooded my thoughts.
And I just think, of all the things that you are. All the little things we done (like you kicking me in my balls 2 days ago. Hard. Why do you hate siblings?) and all the times we shared (usually with some form of puke/spit of yours on my shirt). And I just really love you!
Yesterday your mum showed me a video of you being very very very naughty and wanting to kick the snails and bees on your shaker! Haha it's cute... In a rather annoying way >.> makes me feel like biting your cheeks and making you into ET face again (the nickname for your face when you scrunch it up in one of your big cries)
Yesterday I was on Skype with your mum going to start a game. You were sleeping. Then before the start she needed to use the toilet. So I was there, listening to your room. Then suddenly you started crying. First it was a sputter, like coughs mixed with cries, then it slowly grew into a full-blown cry. I felt so helpless, hearing you cry but not able to comfort you. I guess that's what your mum meant when she said the first night you were in the cot in the hospital with her unable to move. And seeing you cry but not able to help broke her heart.
Yeah. You break hearts. Our hearts. You little heartbreak kid. (Shawn Michaels is the original heartbreak kid :D)
